SSAU students - winners of the I Youth tourist hackathon "HackGround"

In the resort town of Zheleznovodsk, the I Youth Tourist Hackathon of the North Caucasian Federal District "HackGround" was held, in which students of the Faculty of Hospitality Business and Tourism took part.

The goal of the Hackathon is to create conditions for the formation of a professional community in the development of tourism infrastructure in the regions of the North Caucasus, as well as the search for non-standard technological solutions and the creation of new projects in the field of tourism and hospitality through a two-day marathon of solving cases for interdisciplinary teams.

The teams included representatives from various areas of training and professional employment, including in the field of tourism and branding of territories, programming and IT, marketing and economic specialties. More than 70 students from universities of the North Caucasus Federal District took part in the hackathon.

Forum participants took a two-day intensive course, which included master classes from leading experts in the field of tourism, lectures, creative practical tasks and much more.

The winners based on the results of two days of the hackathon were the team of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, which was represented by:

• Anastasia Gennadievna Stroeva - team captain, assistant at the Department of Tourism and Hospitalitu Business;

• Ekaterina Filatova - 2nd year student, teaching in the profile 03.03.03 - Hospitality Business;

• Victoria Gomanyuk - 2nd year student, profile 43.03.01 - Hospitality Business;

• Anastasia Morozova and Zuleikha Talybova - 3rd year students, profile 43.03.02 - Tourism;

• Anastasia Yasnitskaya - 1st year undergraduate student, profile 43.04.02 - Tourism.
