24.03.2021

On the basis of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, a working meeting of the students of the first and second streams of the educational project "Farmer's School" of the Russian Agricultural Bank was held.

Chaired by the acting Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov, the participants shared their positive experience of participation in the project "Farmer's School" and the first results. So, Amiran Zanilov has already spent the grant money received as a result of participation in the first edition of the Farmer's School on equipment for greenhouses.

“Currently, we have managed to purchase specialized boilers to maintain the optimal temperature inside the greenhouses, and there are plans to purchase analytical equipment to study the condition of the soil,” says Amiran.

On the course, the student was trained in the direction of "Vegetable growing", as a result he defended the project according to his own business plan, received a diploma of the established sample and a grant for the development of the enterprise from the integrator of the School of APH "ECO-Culture".

In the Stavropol Territory, the Farmer's School project was launched for the second time. The first pilot graduation took place in four regions of the country and has proven its effectiveness and social significance. The students of the current edition of the School have already received basic economic and legal knowledge, and in the near future they will begin field practice at the sites of the project integrators.

During the meeting, participants were able to ask questions of interest to representatives of the bank and the agrarian department. Many of them related to a specific business that the listeners are developing or planning to develop.

The meeting was attended by the first persons of SSAU:

• Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov - Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor,

• Olga Mikhailovna Lisova - Director of the Institute of Continuing Professional Education, SSAU, professor.

“The Ministry of Agriculture in the region provides significant support to the bank in the implementation of this social initiative. The department's specialists help farmers with further work on business plans, which students form during their studies at the School. And the most effective work projects are approved, and after that, startups or already practicing farmers can get a loan from the RAB, including on preferential terms. For the bank's clients, there are now many tariffs for settlement and cash services. And for novice agricultural producers there are special offers: the “Light” tariff, ”said Irina Anatolyevna Leonova, deputy director of the Stavropol branch of Russian Agricultural Bank JSC, in her speech.

“The interest in this educational project is obvious. We often get questions about how you can become a listener and what bonuses await graduates. The idea of teaching farmers the basics of economics, law, accounting and specialization is new, modern, effective. The Ministry certainly supports this socially significant project to improve the literacy of farmers. I am sure that the results of the work of the teaching staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, bank specialists and integrators of the Farmer's School will not be long in coming ", - stressed the acting. Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov.
