Workshop "Monetary Policy of Russia" of the Southern Main Branch of the Bank of Russia

Students and teachers of the Accounting and Finance Faculty took part in the format of interactive webinars in a workshop on the topic: "Monetary Policy" within the framework of the All-Russian program on financial literacy in educational institutions with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia.

The purpose of the workshop: to acquaint students with new scenarios for the development of the Russian economy, interest rate and credit policy, price stability, with indicators of macroeconomic forecast in the face of growing deflationary risks by the targeted regime of monetary policy.

During the event, the audience received additional information about the growth conditions in the global and Russian economies of deflationary risks; on the modernization of the instruments of interest rate policy of central banks, in favor of the introduction of new indicators for regulating the supply of monetary liquidity in the interbank market; about changing administrators and methods of calculating indicative interest rates. We also considered the presented conditions for sustainable development of the Russian economy in the face of growing deflationary risks of the Bank of Russia.

The master class was provided by the leading specialists of the information department of the Southern Main Branch of the Bank of Russia. Speakers are financial market experts with knowledge and practice on the topics of financial literacy.

The event was actively attended by teachers of the Accounting and Finance Faculty: Doctor of Economics, Professor Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professors Lyudmila Anatolyevna Latysheva, Elena Nikolaevna Lapina, Elena Anatolyevna Ostapenko, Tamara Vasilievna Skrebtsova, Svetlana Yurievna Shamrina, Larisa Vladimirovna Kuleshova, as well as students.
