At the boiling point of the university, a strategic session "Development of agri-food markets in Russia in the face of modern challenges" was held within the framework of the "Week of Faculties at NTI" project. The event allowed the participants to expand their understanding of the state and strategic directions of development of the agri-food markets in Russia, to receive practical recommendations on the use of analytical tools for market research.
Teachers of the Faculty of Economics, together with students, held a strategic session "Development of agri-food markets in Russia in the face of modern challenges."
Objectives of the event:
- assessment of the current state and development trends of agricultural markets in the context of the national agri-food policy;
- identification of sectoral problems and possible risks of the functioning of agri-food markets, taking into account regional specifics,
- discussion of strategic directions for the development of the agrarian sector of the Russian economy in the context of modern challenges.
The expert speakers were:
· Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head. Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics;
· Olga Nikolaevna Onezhkina, Ph.D. in Economics, leading marketer of Agroholding Energomera LLC;
· Ekaterina Grigorievna Agalarova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics;
· Elena Aleksandrovna Kosinova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics;
· Galina Viktorovna Tokareva, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics.
Olga Onezhkina, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, shared with the participants of the strategic session the experience of using analytical tools to analyze agricultural and food markets, and also talked about the author's method of pricing for agricultural products used in practical work.
Students presented the results of sectoral studies of agri-food markets:
Anastasia Panikidi (4th year, group 1) made a presentation on "Development of a strategy for the development of the export potential of the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory."
Yana Chernova (3rd year group 2) demonstrated the results of a study of the state and development trends of the sectoral market of sunflower seeds and products of its processing.
Dmitry Aguzov (3rd year group 2) highlighted the issues of the current state of the vegetable market, the peculiarities of its formation and the forecast of development in Russia.
Ainagul Akhmetova (3rd year group 2) spoke about the situation and trends in the development of the meat market in the country, taking into account the regional specifics.
David Takushinov (3rd year, 2nd group) spoke about the industry problems in the milk and dairy products market, as well as the strategic directions of its development, taking into account modern challenges.
