Meeting on the topic: "Russian business at a crossroads: what prevents enterprises from becoming competitive?"

At the Boiling Point, within the framework of the Week of Faculties at NTI, a meetup was held on the topic: "Russian business at a crossroads: what prevents enterprises from becoming competitive?" The speakers and debates of the meetup were students of the accounting, finance and economics departments of the Stavropol Agrarian University, as well as the winners of the Olympiad in economics - students of 10-11 grades of gymnasium No. 24 in Stavropol.

The event was organized by the teachers of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Economics of the Agro-Industrial Complex Natalya Anatolyevna Dovgotko, Elizaveta Viktorovna Skiperskaya, Evgeny Valerievich Rusanovsky, Olga Aleksandrovna Cherednichenko and Yulia Viktorovna Rybasova.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina made a welcoming speech at the opening of the meetup, noting the relevance and necessity of discussing and finding a solution to the problem of increasing the competitiveness of Russian business in an unstable market environment.

The main goal of the meetup is live communication between students and teachers, their exchange of knowledge, ideas, thoughts, as well as the search for a solution to an economic problem that is urgent for Russia in an informal setting. The program of the event included reports from 5 speakers, and the rest of the time the site worked in the “free microphone” mode, where everyone present could share their opinions on the topic under discussion and ask their questions to the audience. In this regard, the working area at the Boiling Point was divided into two parts: 1. "Lecture hall", or an audience for speeches on the topic of the meetup; 2. "Zone for communication and networking", in which the participants were able to freely communicate with each other and support the discussion on the competitiveness of Russian enterprises and market monopolization.

At the end of the event, the results were summed up, the most interesting presentations of the meetup participants were noted and certificates were awarded.
