Off-site practical training for students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources

For the 4th year students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the direction of training "Food from vegetable raw materials" and "Fruit and vegetable growing", field classes were held on the territory of the Strizhament Distillery LLC and at the Federal Budgetary Institution "State Regional Center for Standardization, Metrology and Testing in Stavropol Territory "(both are located in the city of Stavropol).

According to the curriculum of the lesson in the discipline "Examination and identification of alcoholic beverages" and "Standardization and certification of vegetables, fruit crops and grapes" for the 4th year, includes such issues as: standardization, certification, metrology, technical regulations, testing laboratories and centers that are in are currently the most relevant. During the lesson, the staff of the center gave a description of the work of each department of the Stavropol FMC and conducted an excursion to the testing laboratories.

Olga Chikanova, ambassador and employee of the Strizhament plant, conducted an excursion and a lecture for the students, in which she paid attention to the assortment and characteristics of alcoholic beverages, the production of semi-finished products from vegetable raw materials, the production of sugar syrup and color scheme. Also, an organoleptic evaluation of the products of this enterprise was organized.
