Associate professors of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction took part as jury members in the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren in Ecology

The Olympiad was held from 7 to 13 April at the North Caucasus Federal University. It was attended by 276 schoolchildren from 68 regions of Russia. The All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren is one of the forms of work with gifted children in the Russian education system and allows identifying talented youth.

Associate professors of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction Svetlana Vasilievna Okrut, Elena Evgenievna Stepanenko, Tamara Georgievna Zelenskaya took part as jury members in the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Ecology.

The jury included Vladimir Mikhailovich Zakharov, Head of the Center for Sustainable Development and Environmental Health, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ivan Pavlovich Blokov, Program Director of the department of the international non-profit non-governmental organization Council Greenpeace.

The jury evaluated two rounds: theoretical and practical. As a result of the competition, 18 finalists became winners, 99 children became prize-winners.
