Lesson of courage dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

The Regional Council of Veterans and the Council of Veterans of SSAU held a Lesson of Courage dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. WWII veterans and home front workers were invited to the meeting. The meeting was attended by students and teachers of several faculties of SSAU.

The organizer of the Lesson of Courage was Nikolai Gavrilovich Guzynin, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the public organization of war and labor veterans of SSAU.

The patriotic event was organized by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism Ivan Ivanovich Ryazantsev, head of the Department of Philosophy and History prof. Evgeny Vasilievich Tufanov, deputy Dean for educational work of the accounting and financial faculty Viktoria Samvelovna Germanova and teacher of the accounting and financial faculty Tamara Vasilievna Skrebtsova.

Karabut Alexey Pavlovich - Chairman of the Regional Council of the Stavropol regional public organization of veterans of war, labor, armed forces and law enforcement agencies.

Zubov Vladimir Pavlovich - Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol City Council of the public organization of veterans of war, labor, armed forces and law enforcement agencies, colonel in reserve, veteran of the Russian armed forces.

Ponomarenko Alexander Sergeevich - Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, colonel in reserve.

Nikolai Gavrilovich Guzinin - Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the public organization of war and labor veterans of SSAU.

Nikolai Gavrilovich in his opening remarks noted that the Lesson of Courage is aimed at ensuring that the invisible thread of continuity about the great feat is not interrupted and is imprinted on the younger generation.

The bright and meaningful speeches of the Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans Alexei Pavlovich Karabut and the veterans of the Great Patriotic War A.S. Ponomarenko, V.P. Zubov and V.I. Kurcheva deeply impressed the students.

In the “Boiling Point”, words were heard about the heroic pages of the Great Patriotic War, about the strength of spirit and unity of the Soviet people who fought for their lives, freedom and sovereignty, about tireless home front workers who forged weapons of war to achieve victory.

First-year students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty Elena Lobzhanidze and Valeria Sukhorukova read out military poems: "Monument" by G. Rublyov and "Requium" by R. Rozhdestvensky. The vocal studio "Provence" also presented its creativity to the guests of the Lesson of Courage.
