In modern conditions, the role of science has increased, which has reached the rank of key national priorities, and 2021 in Russia was declared the year of science and technology. One of the directions for the implementation of national goals is to attract talented youth to the field of science. In answering the questions and challenges posed, the view of young scientists is important. And here the main role is assigned to universities as flagships of education and science. The conference provided a wide platform for the exchange of views and knowledge on many topical issues and problems of science and practice.
The meeting of the conference was opened by the Dean of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, Doctor of Economics, Professor Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova.
Within the framework of the meeting, 9 best reports of the winners of the sections of the departments of the accounting and financial faculty were heard and discussed. Presentations were made by:

- Palchikova Karina, 5th year student, report topic: "The tricks of financial fraudsters in a pandemic and how to save your money";
- Alexey Zolotarev, 2nd year Master’s student, report topic: "The digital economy and its role during a pandemic";
- Tkachuk Ekaterina, 3rd year student, report topic: "Improving the management system for sustainable development of rural areas";
- Adankina Anastasia, 3rd year student, report topic: "Financing of investment activities in agriculture during the crisis";
- Yulia Prokopova, 3rd year student, report topic: "The place of environmental accounting in a modern accounting and information system";
- Begun Valentina, 3rd year student, report topic: "Accounting risks and their impact on managerial decision-making";
- Efendiev Inal, 4th year student, report topic: "Cryptocurrencies as a new element of the global financial system: problems and prospects for integration";
- Bela Gutyakulova, 3rd year student, report topic: "The role of accounting in ensuring the economic security of an organization."
Based on the results of the student conference, new guidelines for the development of scientific research were developed, because the Faculty of Accounting and Finance is the choice of the future. It provides a solid foundation on which all future life will be based. There are many incentives for both professional growth and self-development.
Moderators of the event: Frolov Alexander Vitalievich, Deputy Dean for Research of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University and Uryadova Tatyana Nikolaevna, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Analysis and Audit of Stavropol State Agrarian University, noted the topical nature of research by young scientists and the high potential for their further development. The best reports were awarded diplomas.
The materials of the conference will be included in the collection of scientific papers.
