The SSAU cybersports team won the zonal stage of the fifth season of the tournament in the Southern Federal District. Now the team will play in the final stage, where the winner of the fifth season will be determined among eight teams, and a prize fund of 2.5 million roubles will be drawn. The competition takes place on five of the programme's games - Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone, Clash Royale and StarCraft II.
The All-Russian CyberSports Student League is an annual cybersports competition among teams from higher and secondary educational institutions in Russia, organised by the Russian Federation of Computer Sports. The competitions are broadcast on the official website - studliga.rf, as well as in the official communities of the Federation in the VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social networks.
The All-Russian Student CyberSports League is supported by a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
As part of the All-Russian Student CyberSports League, the StSAU cyber sports team, having won the District stage and earlier the Regional stage, entered the All-Russian stage and will compete in June for the title of the best student team in Russia.
The guys are guaranteed to win 75,000 roubles prize money as a Top 8 team in Russia. In June, the cyber athletes are invited to Moscow for the final All-Russian stage, where they will be able to compete for 1 million roubles.
