Soil and plant sampling followed by micro-fertiliser application as part of scientific research at the Stavropol State Agrarian University's study and experimental farm

Teachers and graduates of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology carried out soil and plant sampling followed by the application of microfertilizers within the research on "Effectiveness of microfertilizers application on different nutrition backgrounds during cultivation of winter wheat on leached chernozem".

The research is being conducted by Vladimir Aleksandrovich Klets, a first-year PhD student, under the scientific supervision of Alexander Nikolayevich Yesaulko, Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology at the Russian Academy of Sciences. The scientists applied microfertilizers in a high-tech way - with the help of a special-equipped quadrocopter. The microfertilizer used were brand Atlantica "Raikat Razvitiye" (made in Spain), Zoloto Poli "All inclusive" (made in Russia), WUXAL "Microplant" (made in Germany) and POLIDON "Complex" (made in Russia).

Also under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Department of Agrochemistry and Physiology Alyona Yurievna Ozheredova, graduates of the department on the territory of educational and experimental farm StSAU in the previously laid experience on crops of winter wheat variety "Alekseevich" were taken samples of plants and soil. The samples obtained during the sampling will be sent to the agrochemical analysis laboratory for determination of productive moisture, macro- and microelements. Measurements of linear growth and density of winter wheat plants within each of the study variants were also carried out.

After a certain period after application of microfertilizers scientists and students plan to collect and analyze soil and plant samples for comparison and registration of the results of scientific research in the next stage.
