On May 18-21, 2021, the 21st Russian exhibition of breeding sheep and goats was held in the Minvody Expo hall. The exhibition was attended by 21 regions, more than 50 farms. Agricultural enterprises brought about 500 heads of elite small cattle to the exhibition. Representatives of the scientific community, including scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, also took part in the work.
The exhibition presented sheep breeds of fine-wool, semi-fine-wool, coarse-wool and meat-and-milk production directions. Recent achievements of the industry, equipment, technologies and veterinary protection products were also presented.
The official opening ceremony was held with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Nikolaevich Patrushev.
At the exhibition scientific innovative developments of scientists from the Faculty of Biotechnology, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Economics and other faculties were presented.
