V qualifying intra-university WorldSkills championship

The closed intra-university championship on WorldSkills competencies has finished at the Stavropol State Agrarian University. This year, the University announced 12 competencies in the most relevant areas of work. Knowledge and skills of students were assessed by certified experts - teachers of SSAU. More than 100 students took part in the competition.

Stavropol State Agrarian University actively participates in the WorldSkills program, annually expands the list of competencies and shows good results. For example, last year, for the first time, students took part in the "Internet Marketing" competence and immediately won the national gold.

At the closing ceremony of the intra-university championship, students and experts were greeted by the Rector of SSAU, Professor Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov. He noted the high level of knowledge of the participants, their desire to win and achieve high results.

This year, 111 students in 12 competencies met at the sites:

• agronomy;

• hotel administration;

• banking;

• accounting;

• veterinary medicine;

• production of prototypes;

• internet marketing;

• occupational Safety and Health;

• entrepreneurship;

• tourism;

• freight forwarding;

• finance.

The jury consisted of 79 experts. Based on the results of the internal championship, competency leaders will represent our University at the interuniversity stage and compete for national gold medals.
