Round table "Transformation of rural areas is a driver of national development"

The Faculty of Economics hosted a round table "Transformation of Rural Areas is a Driver of National Development" as part of the III Moscow Academic Economic Forum (MAEF-2021) "Global Transformation of Modern Society and National Development Goals of Russia".

Professors and students of the Faculty of Economics took part in the work of the Moscow Academic Economic Forum, which is an international scientific intellectual platform, the purpose of which is to organize an international scientific expert discussion to determine the key trajectories of the development of economic theory and practice.

The Forum brings together leading scientists and experts from Russia and the world, foreign specialists, young researchers, representatives of federal legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation, administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, representatives of the educational community of Russia, business circles, international and Russian public organizations.

The moderator of the MAEF-2021 regional platform was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, Doctor of Economics, Professor - Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina.

Leading scientists of the Faculty of Economics on the problem of rural development were the speakers of the round table.

Sergey Ivanovich Lugovskoy, Researcher of the Department for Studying Rural Development Problems of the Institute of Agrarian Research, National Research University Higher School of Economics, took part in the work of the regional platform of the forum, who presented a report on the topic "The influence of socio-economic factors on the development of rural areas" , Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, with the topic of the report "On the State and Development of Housing Construction in Rural Areas of Russia", Angelina Yakovlevna Kazarova - Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, topic of the report "Research of positive experience in solving the housing issue in the regions of Russia", Alexander Vladimirovich Tenischev - Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy, who raised the issue of the practice of using reuse projects in the construction of social infrastructure in rural areas, and Ekaterina Grigorievna Agalarova - Ph.D. D., Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, with the topic of the report "Research of the standard of living of the rural population and the prospects for housing construction in rural areas."

The relevance of the problem raised determined the keen interest of the round table participants both on the part of teachers and on the part of students representing the areas of training "Economics" and "State and Municipal Administration".
