International Scientific and Practical Conference "AgroTech: Smart Innovations in Agriculture for Sustainable Development Based on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and the Internet of Things"

An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship was held on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The conference was organized in the framework of a network partnership with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Institute of Scientific Communications" (Volgograd), with which the Stavropol State Agrarian University has long-term cooperation in the field of scientific research and organization of scientific events.

The conference was attended by scientists from 14 universities and research organizations, including the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, State University of Land Management, agricultural universities of St. Petersburg, Omsk, Volgograd, Irkutsk, Samara, Saratov, Krasnodar, as well as Kazan Federal University and the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

At the conference, the results of research were presented, allowing to form a scientific basis and acquaint participants with applied developments for the formation of a new vision of agriculture as a promising, investment-attractive industry and a new vector of economic growth. Particular attention was paid to the importance of innovations in agriculture for ensuring food security, establishing careful and responsible environmental management, and preventing future economic crises.

As a result of the conference, scientific articles will be published in the books of the Springer publishing house and indexed in the scientometric databases Webofscience and Scopus.

Such events contribute to the unification of scientific forces in solving the issues of innovative development of the agrarian sector in Russia, increasing the publication activity of scientific workers. As a result of work within the framework of the conference, scientists have outlined joint research in some topical areas.
