The results of the 5th International Insurance Olympiad have been summed up. Among the winners and finalists are students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The main goal of the international insurance Olympiad was to expand the range of competencies, increase interest in selected professional and scientific activities in the field of insurance, create a favorable environment for creative research, identify gifted and talented researchers.
Students from Russia, Macedonia, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria took part in the Olympiad. SSAU was represented by 16 participants. The students showed a high level of knowledge in the field of finance, legal regulation and organization of insurance business.
The organizers of the International Insurance Olympiad were the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Sberbank Insurance Broker and Media Information Group «Insurance Today».
The intellectual competition was held in two stages from January to May 2021. Students solved tests and cases from competition partners, wrote essays and passed oral interviews. Among the finalists of two rounds were: students of the specialty "Economic Security": Burnasheva Nelly (2nd year), Mikhonenko Viktor (4th year), Efendiev Inal (4th year), Kononyuk Daria (5th year) and 4th year students of the direction "Economics", "Finance and Credit": Magomedova Zalina, Tosunova Alexandra, Tyunyan Evgeniya.
The academic leaders of the contestants from the Stavropol State Agrarian University were the teachers of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance: Doctor of Economics, Professor Agarkova Lyubov Vasilievna, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Klishina Yulia Evgenievna, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Safiullaeva Raisa Ilyinichna.
The winner of the insurance Olympiad, which successfully completed all competitive tests, became a 4th year student of the direction "Economics", "Finance and Credit" Kurilova Maria - scientific adviser, Doctor of Economics, Professor Agarkova Lyubov Vasilievna.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will be provided with 50% and 25% discounts for studying at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation for undergraduate and graduate programs.
