Research activity of students is an integral part of mastering the main professional educational program of higher education. The participation of children in applied research allows them to acquire the skills of independent work, its presentation for discussion and practical application. The Stavropol State Agrarian University summed up the results of the VII All-Russian competition of scientific works for the best author's research in the field of the financial market "Financial market instruments for the agro-industrial complex of the region."
The organizers of the competition were: Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance, FSBEI HE "Stavropol State Agrarian University" together with FSBEI HE "Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov "with the assistance of LLC FINAM-Stavropol and the branch of PJSC SR Rosgosstrakh in the Stavropol Territory.
The competition for student research papers is being held for the seventh time and is aimed at promoting the activation of students 'research activities, substantiating the directions of sustainable financial development of agricultural enterprises, increasing students' interest in their chosen profession. For the first time, the Competition was held in April 2015; during its existence, more than 200 students from 18 regions of Russia took part in the competition.
The competition was held in order to improve the educational process, increase the level of professional training of future specialists, develop the creative abilities of students and their skills of independent research work.
60 students from 10 universities of Russia - St. Petersburg State University of Economics, St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, Volgograd State Agrarian University, Vologda State Dairy Academy named after N.V. Vereshchagin, Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin ", Oryol State Agrarian University named after N.V. Parakhin, Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.A. Vavilov, Stavropol State Agrarian University, North Caucasus Federal University, Dagestan State University.
Students submitted their competitive works in one of the following nominations:
- Financial market and its participants;
- The credit market and its segments;
- Insurance market;
- Agricultural insurance;
- Stocks and bond market;
- Alternative sources of funding;
- Innovations in the financial market;
- Risk hedging.
Competitive works were evaluated by a highly professional jury, including leading scientists and specialists from the regions of Russia, including:
