On June 8, 2021, the RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytica) published the tenth annual rating of Russian universities. The RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytica) evaluates Russian universities according to such indicators as the quality of education (weight 50%) - the level of teaching, international integration, demand among applicants and resource availability; demand for university graduates by employers (weight 30%) - cooperation with employers and the quality of graduates' careers; the level of research activities of the university (weight 20%) - the research potential of the university, its scientific achievements and research infrastructure were assessed.
In 2021, Stavropol State Agrarian University confirmed its status as one of the 100 best universities in Russia and took 59th place, significantly improving its results over the past 3 years (in 2018, the university was ranked 65th)!
So, in the top 100 RAEX rating in 2021, there are still only 2 agricultural universities - Stavropol State Agrarian University and Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy.
When preparing the rating, statistical indicators are used (entered by universities in specialized questionnaires), as well as the results of sociological surveys of employers, representatives of academic and scientific circles, students and graduates. In 2021, 180 university questionnaires were processed, and over 70 thousand respondents took part in online surveys.
The RAEX rating of Russian universities has successfully passed the international audit by IREG Observatory, the largest association of compilers and consumers of educational ratings.
