Within the framework of strategic partnership with the research and production company "SKiFF" on the basis of the vivarium of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the staff of the Department of Therapy and Pharmacology conducts preclinical studies of new medicinal compositions for veterinary use.
Scientific and Production Company SKiFF LLC is a modern company with high scientific potential, involved in developing, producing and marketing: effective veterinary drugs with a high degree of safety (market leadership in terms of this quality) for pets; highly effective veterinary drugs that solve special (specific, narrow) problems of domestic animals.
The company employs candidates of biological, chemical, pharmaceutical sciences, veterinarians. Medicines created by the company on the basis of domestic developments of the Russian Academy of Sciences meet modern international requirements, are registered and certified in the Russian Federation.
To conduct research and equip the vivarium of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the company purchased equipment and laboratory animals. This allows today to conduct practice-oriented classes for students on the basis of the vivarium in the disciplines of the specialization "Diseases of small domestic and exotic animals", to carry out research for graduate students, to master the methods of working with laboratory animals by students of the Department's Students Scientific Society.
