Within the framework of the strategic cooperation of the leading veterinary clinics of our country, the lecturer of the school named after Doctor Sotnikov made a working visit to the faculty of veterinary medicine of SSAU. Doctor Sotnikov's school offers postgraduate veterinary courses and is one of the best schools in Russia.
The guest of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was the lecturer of Dr. Sotnikov’s school, veterinarian, dermatologist Vladimir Vladimirovich Ruppel. Today the lecturer works in the veterinary clinic of neurology, traumatology and intensive care in St. Petersburg. Vladimir Vladimirovich is a regular participant in major veterinary events, at which he delivers lectures on dermatology.
The specialist conducted a number of master classes in the conditions of a scientific diagnostic and medical veterinary center, and also conducted a seminar for students-veterinarians. From the lecture "Antiparasitic agents in dermatology" students learned: what is the difference between autoimmune and immune-mediated dermatoses; what methods can be used to diagnose parasitic skin diseases in animals; how to select material for skin histology; what are the main stages of therapy for parasitic diseases; what drugs are used to treat parasitic skin diseases in dogs and cats.
