Scrum is a technique that helps teams work together. Just as a sports team prepares for a decisive game (by the way, scrum is an element of a rugby game), a team of company employees must learn from the experience gained, master the principles of self-organization, working on solving a problem, and analyze their successes and failures to constantly improve. Scrum contributes to this.
On the basis of the "Boiling Point of SSAU" students took part in the project game "Martians", according to the Scram method, the main component of which is a clear delineation of the roles of the participants, a detailed description of the process and time for implementation.
The teachers of the Faculty of Economics helped the students to understand the methodology:
- Head of the Department of Management and Management Technologies, Doctor of Economics, Nazarenko Anton Vladimirovich;
- Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Management Technologies Zvyagintseva Olga Sergeevna;
- Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Management Technologies Kenina Diana Sergeevna;
- Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Management Technologies Babkina Olga Nikolaevna.
Under conditions of limited resources and constant changes, students needed to develop an excursion route for aliens from the planet Mars, and a quiz on space topics was also built into the game. During the game, students showed their leadership, communication, as well as creative skills and presented the final project of the "excursion", all participants were awarded certificates, and the winners were awarded diplomas.
