The journal AEÜ - International Journal of Electronics and Communications by Elsevier publishes the article "Energy balance distribution of radio modules with different technical states between node positions in wireless sensor networks". The journal belongs to the first quartile in the international Scopus database and has the second quartile in the Web of Science database.
One of the authors of the article is Irina Vladimirovna Samoilenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Economics, Stavropol State Agrarian University. The lecturer of Stavropol State Agrarian University has been engaged in research in the field of wireless sensor networks together with her colleagues for several years.
The material basis for the implementation of Internet of Things technology in various areas of human activity are wireless sensor networks, which consist of a large number of miniature low-power multi-functional nodes. The steadily increasing number of applications of wireless sensor networks in everyday life leads to the development of new algorithms and protocols to solve various problems such as reliable sensor data collection, rational topology design, speed of message delivery, reliability and energy efficiency of the network.
The authors are currently conducting research on the application of these networks in agriculture. Based on the results of this work, the authors plan to submit a first quartile paper to a journal on the same subject after writing the paper.
