The Stavropol State Agrarian University summed up the 53rd regional meeting of pupils' production teams of Stavropol Territory. In connection with the current epidemiological situation, the meeting was held remotely. This was not the first year many schoolchildren had taken part in the competition and were studying important agro-industrial disciplines, so necessary in their daily rural life. In total more than 200 participants took part in the competition programme.
The aim of the PPT rally is to improve the work of apprentice production teams, increasing their role in solving problems of economic, environmental, moral and patriotic upbringing of students of educational institutions. Brigades help to increase the level of professional knowledge and mastering of labour skills in the sphere of agricultural production.
Guests of honour of awarding ceremony of winners of 53rd meeting of PPT were:
- Alexey Fyodorovich Lavrinenko, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Issues;
- Diana Gitinomagomedovna Rudieva, Deputy Minister of Education of the Stavropol Territory;
- Alexander Vladimirovich Trukhachev, Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor;
- Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov, Vice-Rector for Education and Educational Work of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor.
This year's competition took place in ten categories: brigadier, crop grower, horticulturist, landscape designer, ecologist, forester, inventor and innovator, mechanic, livestock technologist and veterinarian. The schoolchildren received well-deserved prizes from the hands of the guests of honour. Places on a podium were distributed thus:

The results of the competition for the year 2020 were also summed up. In the Stavropol Territory there are 24 pupil production teams. According to the decision of the jury the places were distributed as follows:
- 3rd place - the 'Lukomorye' student production team from school No. 10 in the village of Achikulak in the Neftekumsk urban district
- 2nd place - the student's production team "Trudovik" of school No. 11 of the village of Krasnochervonny of the Novoalexandrovsky urban district
- 1st place - pupil production team named after N.I. Matveev of school No. 8 of Manychskoye village of the Apanasenkovsky municipal district
A team of professionals - teachers and staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - worked with the pupils. In addition to knowledge and valuable prizes the pupils already have priority in admission to the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The outstanding participants will have their scores added to their results from the unified state examination.
