The Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted a meeting between the executive director of Nevinnomysskiy Azot and the management of the university to discuss issues of cooperation.
AO Nevinnomyssky Azot is the largest chemical enterprise in Southern Russia, producing a wide range of mineral fertilizers and organic synthesis products, sold both in the domestic market and for export.
At the site of the Agrarian University a meeting was held between the Executive Director of Nevinnomysskiy Azot, Sergey Valerievich Klavlin, and his deputy, Oleg Talberg, and the Acting Rector of SSAU, Professor Alexander Trukhachev. Vitaly Shulzhenko, Minister of Energy, Industry and Communication of Stavropol Region, took part in the working meeting at the invitation of the university administration.
At the meeting the issue of cooperation between the two organizations for the purpose of training qualified personnel for AO "Nevinnomyssky Azot" was discussed. Today the chemical plant, which is part of the EuroChem Mineral and Chemical Holding Company, is implementing plans to modernise its production and increase its production capacity. As a result, there is a growing demand for qualified engineers.
Stavropol State Agrarian University has expressed its willingness to provide Nevinnomysskiy Azot with personnel with a higher engineering education. The management of Stavropol State Agrarian University is ready to consider ways of adapting the training process to provide students with knowledge of the production features of the chemical plant. During the discussion the possibility of launching a targeted enrolment, as well as the opening of a specialised department was voiced.
