The championship was held in Ufa and covered almost 2000 participants from all over Russia. As part of the team of the Stavropol Territory, Dmitry Volkov, a student of the Faculty of Secondary Professional Education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, won an honorary III place in the competence "Prototyping." "Agency for the Development of Professional Skills (WorldSkills Russia - 2021)" Robert Urazov and the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
Since 2007, Stavropol State Agrarian University has been teaching prototyping to students. For this purpose, the CMIT Fablab "Vector" was created on the basis of the university, which is the National Competence Center "Prototyping" accredited according to WorldSkills standards.
This is the first specialized competence center in the Stavropol Territory accredited by the Union "Agency for the Development of Professional Communities and Workers" Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia), and the only one in the Russian Federation for this competence.
Today the Center is located on the square 550 sq.m. and is equipped with the most modern equipment for digital production: 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser equipment, CNC lathes and milling machines.
SSAU has already prepared national and world champions, and continues to work in this direction.
