The Financier's Day was solemnly and vividly celebrated at the Accounting and Finance Faculty

On September 8, the whole country celebrates the Financier's Day - a holiday dedicated to specialists who manage the financial system of our Motherland. It has its origins since 1802, when Emperor Alexander I decided to establish the Ministry of Finance to maintain order and increase the country's wealth. Until 2011, the financiers celebrated the holiday informally and only from that date, by decree of the President of Russia, it was included in the list of professional holidays.

On this day, thousands of financiers receive the warmest and most sincere congratulations. This year, as well as during the previous years, the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University did not pass by the "Financier's Day". First-year students were accepted into the ranks of future financiers.

Like any holiday, the Financier's Day was not without pleasant surprises. To become the owners of unique memorable gifts from the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory, the Stavropol Territory Branch of the Southern State Institution of the Bank of Russia and the Stavropol regional branch of JSC "Rosselkhozbank", students were invited to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the field of financial literacy by completing tasks and answering questions of an intellectual battle.
