The development and implementation of innovative practices in livestock breeding are the priority areas for the development of agricultural education at our university. On the Internet site of the Stavropol Agrarian University, a discussion of the round table program on animal husbandry was held as part of the future exhibition Golden Autumn - 2021.
To develop events and discuss the Roundtable Program "Procedure for breeding and breeding animals within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union", which is planned to be held at the All-Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2021", on the Internet site of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, was held online meeting with Galina Fatykhovna Safina, Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock and Pedigree Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
The videoconferencing was attended by:
· Sergey Aleksandrovich Oleinik, professor of the basic department of zootechnics, selection and breeding of animals of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University;
· Alexander Alexandrovich Sermyagin, head of the department of population genetics and genetic bases of animal breeding, FSBSE FRC VIZh named after LK. Ernst;
· Olesya Gennadievna Smirnova, executive director of the NGO Association of Holstein Cattle Producers;
· Almagul Altybaevna Zhivalbaeva, head of the breeding department, state budgetary institution of the Samara region "Center for the support of the agro-industrial complex of the Samara region" (SBE SO "Center of the agro-industrial complex").
During the discussion, Professor Sergey Aleksandrovich Oleinik presented his future report, which was approved by the meeting participants, where the main promising directions for the development of pedigree dairy farming in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were also identified.
