SSAU hosted an online broadcast of the presentation of the UNCTAD Report

The Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted an online broadcast of the annual presentation of the UNCTAD Trade and Development Report 2021, which was attended by professors and students of the Faculty of Economics.

At the site of the Stavropol Regional All-Russian Public Organization "Free Economic Society of Russia", the Agrarian University hosted a broadcast of the "Trade and Development Report, 2021" UNCTAD (UN Conference on Trade and Development) on the topic: “From recovery to sustainability. Together or separately? " Anastasia Nesvetailova, Head of Macroeconomics and Political Development Department, UNCTAD, Geneva, presented the report.

The presentation was moderated by Alexander Dynkin, Vice President of the International Union of Economists, President of the IMEMO named after E.M. Primakov of RAS, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Global Problems and International Relations of RAS, Academician of RAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor.

The annual Trade and Development Report is one of the most authoritative publications of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The report contains an in-depth analysis of the current situation in the world economy and trade, recommendations for their development and recovery, an assessment of the effects of decisions taken in the field of economic policy, and is of great interest to the world expert community and national governments.

The event was attended by leading Russian and foreign scientists and experts, representatives of Russian and international public organizations, government bodies and the media.

At the end of the report, teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics discussed the situation in the global economy, taking into account the consequences of the COVID-19 infection.
