SSAU Professor was awarded the "Dean of the Year 2021" award

The Professors' Forum was held in Moscow - one of the main events held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. This year the forum is being held within the framework of the Year of Science and Technology, announced by the President of the Russian Federation. The topic of this year was current scientific achievements and priority tasks of the development of science and education.

The Professors' forum is included in the plan of events for the Year of Science and Technology. It is attended by academicians, rectors and deans of universities, representatives of legislative and executive authorities, public figures. The topic of the forum this year is Science and Technology in the 21st Century: Trends and Prospects.

Within the framework of the Professors Forum, the ceremony of awarding the National Awards "Professor of the Year 2021", "Dean of the Year 2021" and "Rector of the Year 2021" was held.

This year, the Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko became the only winner of the National Award "Dean of the Year 2021" in the North Caucasus Federal District.

Alexander Nikolaevich has been working at Stavropol State Agrarian University since 1990. He is a Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as the author of more than 400 scientific papers devoted to research in the field of agriculture.

The main topic of the study is the yield of wheat in the difficult climate and soil of the North Caucasus Federal District. Among the topical works: "Ways of optimizing fertilizer systems in crop rotations of the Central Ciscaucasia", "Optimization of the use of mineral fertilizers as a factor in obtaining the planned yield of winter wheat on leached chernozem of the Stavropol Upland" a lot others. The relevance of research is confirmed by successful scientific experiments and patents.
