All-Russian project "Nordic walking - a new lifestyle"

Athletes of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the All-Russian project implemented with the grant support of the Ministry of Sports of Russia.

Nordic walking, popularly called Scandinavian, became popular in the world at the end of the 90s of the last century and since then has been successfully walking the planet; 6 million people are now passionate about this outdoor fitness. For some, this is a kind of sport, for others - an introduction to a healthy lifestyle.

At the Komsomolsk Pond, under the guidance of Alexey Igorevich Ivannikov, a teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, SSAU students took part in the Nordic Walking - a New Lifestyle project, which covers 43 regions of the country.

The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, as well as within the framework of the federal project "Sport is the norm of life" of the national project "Demography", which is aimed at developing mass sports, improving the sports infrastructure, ensuring the availability of physical culture and sports for all categories of citizens.
