MASTCONGRESS, the All-Russian Congress of Youth Media from the International Association of Student Television, was held in Moscow for the fifth time.
The All-Russian Congress of Youth Media has been held annually since 2016, attended by more than 1,450 heads of student media centers, youth media, young media professionals from 320 educational organizations in Russia and the CIS countries.
The congress is not an educational event, but a platform for gathering all representatives of youth media in one place, introducing to each other, finding ways to solve urgent problems together and introducing young media professionals to the heads of federal media and large media holdings.
Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by the acting head of the press service Yekaterina Shulzhenko and a member of the Agrarian MEDIA association, student of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism Yulia Kostina.
Each day of the Congress was dedicated to a specific topic. On the first day, content creation trends were discussed. On the second day, the participants, together with the speakers, discussed the challenges of the new media reality, on the third - the opportunities for those who develop youth media, and on the fourth - the prospects and possible ways of professional development.
Master classes at the MastCongress were conducted by speakers from the news agencies TASS, RIA Novosti, RT TV channel, Moscow holdings and newspapers, as well as representatives of the digital agencies WGG, Hype Agency, Divico and practicing specialists.
At the end of the MastCongress, all the participants received certificates and went to their regions with new knowledge and understanding of where the press service needs to move so that as many people as possible knew about the university.
