Field class for students of SSAU in OOO “Agricultural enterprise Pobeda”

One of the activities of Stavropol State Agrarian University is the practice-oriented activity of students in the process of their preparation for professional activity. An off-site practical lesson was held for future agronomists.

As part of the practice-oriented training of students at the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and secondary vocational education, under the leadership of the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Alena Yurievna Ozheredova and the head of the educational and production practice of the faculty of secondary vocational education Yulia Alekseevna Yeshchenko, a visit was organized students studying in the direction of “Agronomy” in OOO “Agricultural enterprise Pobeda” in Krasnogvardeisky district of the Stavropol Territory.

This enterprise represents the agricultural business segment of JSC Concern Energomera and is one of the largest producers of grain and oilseeds. The excursion began with an acquaintance with the General Director of “Agricultural Enterprise Pobeda” Sergey Ivanovich Kuptsov, who spoke about the Quality Management System used at the enterprise, the main goal of which is to minimize the factors of losses in production. Sergey Ivanovich briefly described the main production centers of the agricultural enterprise, and also expressed gratitude to the students for their interest: “At our enterprise, we try to apply the latest technologies in the field of agriculture, the implementation of which is possible only with the presence of young highly qualified personnel, which you will become after graduation. Therefore, we are gladly ready to accept you as employees of the OOO “Agricultural Enterprise Pobeda”.

Then the acquaintance with the production centers of the enterprise took place, and it began with a visit to the seed center, where the leading seed agronomist Sergey Alexandrovich Milkumov spoke to the students, who told the students about the technology of harvesting and processing seeds on the farm. Here, as in the entire enterprise, technologies are constantly being improved, in particular, a device for separating seeds was demonstrated, which allows you to “beat off” Aegilops. Sergey Aleksandrovich also noted the need to comply with all technological operations and laboratory tests that are carried out in the process of seed preparation.

The excursion continued with acquaintance with the “heart” of the enterprise - the technical center. Head of the center S.V. Borodenko showed in detail the latest technology of imported and domestic production, as well as a service center, where its maintenance is carried out during the season.

The company constantly tests and introduces innovations into production, therefore, a technology development department was specially created on its basis. Agronomist-technologist U. D. Masalova introduced the students to an experimental field, where plant protection products and new types of fertilizers are tested on various crops, with the aim of further introducing them into production. Later, the students were introduced to the mobile workstation of an agronomist, which keeps records of all technological operations of each employee.

Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University expressed gratitude to the employees of the enterprise for an interesting excursion, for a warm welcome and detailed answers to their questions.
