20.10.2021

On October 20, 2021 in the framework of the All-Russian seminar-meeting of deans of agro-engineering faculties of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia in the Stavropol State Agrarian University was inaugurated training center of Minsk Tractor Plant.

The event was attended by: Vitaly Mikhailovich Vovk, General Director of JSC "Minsk Tractor Works"; Pyotr Mikhailovich Chirva, General Director of "Trading House MTZ - Stavropol"; Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov, Vice-Rector for Educational Work of Stavropol State Agrarian University; Yegor Vladimirovich Kulaev, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of "Stavropol State Agrarian University".

In the center, on an area of 700 square meters, up to 120 students can study at one time. It includes 6 educational-production and research laboratories.

Operation and maintenance laboratory can be conditionally divided into two parts - "Technical and production operation". It is a modern classroom complex with practice-oriented orientation. During the year in this laboratory more than 40 laboratory-practical works are performed. Seventeen new workplaces are organized.

There is a fully working model of MTZ-1221 tractor with electric drive for visual learning of MTZ 1221 tractor basic elements by students.

Virtual simulator "MTZ-1221 tractor cabin" is installed. The device allows to simulate different technological operations: plowing in different ways, dividing the field into paddocks, simulation of passing the license in the conditions of the polygon or the city in different climatic conditions with the calculation of violations.

The equipment of the laboratory of input control of spare parts allows to have practical laboratory classes on such disciplines as "Material Science", "Technology of Construction Materials", "Metrology, Standardization and Certification", "Basics of Interchangeability and Technical Measurements". During the classes on metrology students get practical skills in setting up, adjusting and performing measurements with such measuring tools as calipers, micrometers, indicators, calipers. During the classes students perform measurements of the most important dimensions.

The equipment of this laboratory allows to check the main parameters of parts of agricultural machinery and equipment, in particular such as: microstructural analysis of metal, determination of hardness and surface roughness, the establishment of micrometers of internal and external surfaces of parts to match their given parameters and formerly used in order to determine their degree of wear.

For microstructure analysis a metallographic microscope is used, which allows to look at microslides visually and get their digital image, with the possibility of carrying out linear measurements. Universal hardness tester is used for hardness measurements on HB, HRC, HV scales as well as microVickers hardness tester for measuring hardness of thin-film coatings and sputtering. When measuring roughness, the portable profiler MARSURF PS1 is used.

The laboratory has a full range of measuring tools for measuring the surface of parts of the main size range to perform micrometerization of parts.

In the laboratory of logistics and accounting of spare parts we plan to hold classes on the disciplines "Material and technical support", "Equipment of technical service enterprises", "Material and technical supply" and others. Students will receive knowledge in the field of organization and management of purchasing and sales processes at the enterprise on the basis of modern principles of logistics. This will help them, as future engineers, to ensure the delivery of spare parts for machinery in the minimum time, to keep their records and storage.

This laboratory is presented as a mini warehouse, which will simulate the activities of a warehouse, accounting, storage and movement of spare parts in the enterprise. The basis will be used the program 1C Trade, through which students will learn how to select suppliers and work with them. And with the help of catalogs loaded into this program, they will learn to understand the nomenclature of spare parts of transport and technological machines and complexes, and accordingly use the program itself.

In addition, students will learn the purpose and types of packaging for the transportation of parts and barcoding. Also at the lessons students will be engaged in calculation of required amount of spare parts for certain machine park, optimization of need of spare parts and accordingly the areas of storage facilities.

In the future it is planned to organize training according to the program of additional professional education - Procurement of material and technical resources (with the use of 1C program) or training according to the program "1C Trade" for companies with warehouses.

Laboratory of ICE assembly/disassembly is designed for practical classes on the discipline "Tractors and automobiles" and "Design of self-propelled machines" in the direction of training Agroengineering. A graduate who mastered the bachelor's program must have professional competence of disassembly, assembly, installation and adjustment of engines, maintenance of optimum modes of their operation. In the classroom there are D-260 and D-243 internal combustion engines used in MTZ tractors, which will allow checking the wear of components of the liner-piston group, checking and adjusting the gaps between the valves and rocker arms, checking and adjusting the angle of advance of fuel injection, disassembly and installation of injectors with subsequent adjustment, checking the installation of cam gears in accordance with the ignition advance angle, checking the wear in the joints "crankshaft journals ⎯ bearings, checking the tightening of bolts of the cylinder head.

Laboratory of assembly/disassembly of transmission and hydraulic drive is designed for practical classes on disciplines "Tractors and cars" and "Design of self-propelled machines" in the direction of training Agroengineering. In the auditorium there are parts and units used in MTZ tractors: synchronized gearbox of some MTZ tractors to study the processes of transmission of torque changes in magnitude and direction. It will allow to determine the wear or destruction of bearings, shafts and gears during disassembly; the rear axle of MTZ tractors - allows to study the process of torque transmission from engine to propulsors, and during disassembly to identify wear of gears, shafts and bearings, differential, idler pinion of main gear and half axles; front driving axle - it will be used when studying the process of torque transfer from engine to propulsors and will allow to determine the wear of bearings, main gear pinions, discs (driven and leading) of safety clutch, play in steering linkage fingers.

Laboratory of machine parts and basics of construction is designed for practical classes in general engineering disciplines: "Applied Mechanics", "Machine Parts and Construction Fundamentals", "Mechanism and Machine Theory". At the lessons are studied, including the properties, purpose and characteristics of various types of gears and mechanisms - gear, lever, etc.

In the learning process it is important to consider the material studied with a view to practical application and examples from practice. After considering the theoretical issues of classification, features, basics of calculation and design of basic parts and units for students will be an important addition familiarity with the current mechanisms of the designs of modern machines. The availability of certain tractor units in this classroom and the proximity to the specialized classrooms expands the opportunities to study the typical mechanisms in MTZ tractor designs - transmission, steering, drives.

It is planned to revise working programs of general technical disciplines and include laboratory classes to study MTZ tractor on-board gears, characteristics of lever mechanisms of brake system and clutch.

Structural, kinematic and dynamic analysis of lever mechanisms of brake and clutch drive, fuel supply control will be performed at laboratory classes, design problems with changing the given parameters (dimensions, displacements, transmitted forces) will be solved.

Geometric parameters of gears and wheels will be determined for transmissions: number of teeth, transmission ratio, modules of meshing, diameters of circles - dividing, troughs and tops of teeth, external and average cone distances, angles of dividing cones.

With independent performance of laboratory works students will get a more complete picture of the quantitative side of the kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the studied gears.

The inclusion of the laboratory works on the MTZ tractor mechanisms will give the students the necessary theoretical and practical basis for the study of the following special disciplines, the acquisition of skills and abilities in designing, operation and maintenance of the main units and mechanisms of tractors and other complex agricultural machinery, which are necessary both for professional activities and for general engineering erudition in everyday life.

As a result, a cooperation agreement was signed between the "Minsk Tractor Plant" and the "Stavropol Agrarian University.
