Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the All-Russian seminar-meeting of deans of agro-engineering faculties of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Education and Science of Russia

There were 59 participants from 30 institutions of higher education, and another 19 participants from 11 institutions of higher education took part online.

Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted a large-scale two-day event - a seminar-meeting of deans of agro-engineering faculties of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

Guests had the opportunity to exchange experiences in the rich program of the event, which was designed for participants in a face-to-face format and online broadcasting. Thus, 59 representatives of 30 higher educational establishments were present in the hall and another 19 representatives of 11 higher educational establishments were connected to the Zoom platform.

Guests of honor were Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov, pro-rector for education and educational work of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Vitaly Mikhailovich Vovk, General Director of JSC "Minsk Tractor Works" and Viktor Yegorovich Berdyshev, Chairman of the Federation of the Ukrainian Educational Society.

The Presidium members welcomed the audience and made speeches about the importance of expanding agro-education in our country through cooperation with large organizations, when students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the complex work of machinery directly at the enterprises.

"Having points of growth, we try to keep up with the times and do a lot for the development of technological initiatives in the country, and working conditions are aimed at comfortable and productive activities. A new approach to training and a systematic connection between the manufacturer and the university will help get students interested in engineering so they can be productive in the future. For this you need to be good specialists, who will competently operate the equipment and bring a great benefit to the farms", - said Vitaliy Mikhajlovich Vovk.

On the first day, the deans took part in the opening ceremony of the Minsk Tractor Works training center at the faculty of mechanization of agriculture of the SAU and the hosts gave a tour around the university. The next day the guests got acquainted with the work of Staromarjevskaya solar power plant and "ROSTSELMASH" dealer center as well as the technical center of motor repair.

At the end of the work the results were summed up, and the representatives of the universities were presented with certificates of advanced training at the seminar-meeting. Such an important and significant event will leave its mark in history, becoming an example for other universities of our country.
