St. Petersburg State Agrarian University discussed the drivers of the Russian economy

October 20-21, 2021 at the Stavropol State Agrarian University within the VIII Stavropol Forum of the World Russian People's Council "Free and Responsible Youth is Russia's Future", Section 3 "The drivers of Russia's economic development: current realities and prospects" was held, where the active participants were teachers and students of economic faculty.

The moderators of the section were Bishop Gedeon of St. George and Praskoveysk, Priest Nikolai Guleiko, dean of Novoalexandrovsky district of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk diocese, Kusakina Olga Nikolaevna, Dean of Economic Faculty, Head of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor.

The format of the discussion platform brought together representatives of the economic scientific community, the real economy sector, heads of financial and banking structures at the regional level, as well as the clergy.

On the first day of the section took part:

- Dmitriy Artemenko, professor, head of the department of state municipal finance and financial engineering of Southern Federal University, who presented the report "Drivers of Russia's economy: analysis and trends in 2022;

- Alexey Gennadievich Zaitsev, professor of the chair "Finance, investments and credit" of Orel State Agrarian University named after N.V. Parakhin with the report "Global challenges and potential of circular economy";

- Kuzminykh Svetlana Yurievna, individual entrepreneur, head of the consulting agency "Success Factor" with the report topic "Development of small and medium business - an important driver of economic growth in Russia. Implementation of the concept of digitalization;

- Dmitry Gladun, activist of the youth movement "Republican Youth Student Labor Detachments" of the Donetsk People's Republic with the theme "Problems and Prospects of Development of Free Economic Zones;

- Alexander Shuvaev, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Information Systems of Stavropol State Agrarian University, with the theme of "The main vectors of development of the digital economy;

- Kryukova Olga Nikolaevna, Head of the Project Office of P.A. Stolypin State Agrarian University of Omsk, with the report "Constructor of Future Competencies for Students: Project-Based Approach";

- Sklyarova Julia Mikhailovna, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department "Financial Management and Banking" topic of the report "Perspective directions of personnel training for credit-financial sphere in conditions of development of digital economy";

- Alesia Aleksandrovna Khripunova, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of Stavropol Krai, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, "The role of young scientists in the development of key intellectual and technological markets.

During the second session of the round table discussion Irina Anatolievna Leonova, Deputy Director of Rosselkhozbank Regional Branch, Victor Reshetnikov, the Head of Micro Business Customer Service Department of Rosselkhozbank Stavropol Russian Federation, Sergey Lugovskoy, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Researcher at Higher School of Economics with the speech "Problems of attracting young specialists to rural areas".

Special interest was aroused by the reports of Sergey Yurievich Malkov, head of scientific department of ANO "Center of problems of strategic nuclear forces" of Academy of Military Sciences with the topic "Russia in the context of global development: opportunities and risks" and Igor Vladimirovich Gruzkov, professor of Stavropol State Agrarian University "Digital transformation of professional structure of labor market: trends and prospects".

The event demonstrated the possibility of overcoming the challenges, which hinder the development of the national economy, through the search for synergistic solutions from the state, socially responsible business, the initiative youth, which will be aimed at the development of society.
