On the day of the marketer, SSAU hosted a foresight session "Marketing as a driver of the development of the Russian economy"

On October 25, at the Faculty of Economics, the professional holiday "Day of the Marketer" was celebrated, in which students of all directions, studying marketing disciplines, took part.

The initiators and organizers of the annual event were associate professors of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics - Ekaterina Grigorievna Agalarova, Yulia Viktorovna Rybasova and Irina Yurievna Antonova.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina, spoke about the role of marketing in the activities of a modern organization.

Within the framework of the event, a foresight session "Competence of a modern marketer" was organized, where the main questions were:

- knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for a student for successful employment and building a career in leading companies;

- digital environment in the professional activity of a marketer.

Students of 2-4 courses of undergraduate and secondary vocational education of the following directions and training programs took an active part in the foresight session:

- Economics (profiles "Economics of Enterprises and Organizations", "World Economy");

- Information systems and technologies (profile Information systems and technologies in business "Information systems and technologies in business";

- Management (profile "Management of the organization");

- SPE program "Commerce (by industry)" (profile "Sales manager");

- Hospitality (profile "Hospitality Specialist").

As a result of the event, a resolution was formed that forms the image of a modern specialist in the field of marketing from the standpoint of his competencies.
