The Stavropol GAU hosted a seminar-meeting of the North Caucasus Interregional Directorate of Rosprirodnadzor and the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements in the Southern Federal District"

At the event, the issues and problems of the implementation of the State supervision over the protection of land resources were discussed.

On the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, a seminar-meeting of the North Caucasus Interregional Directorate of Rosprirodnadzor and the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements in the Southern Federal District” and its branches was held on the topic “Issues and problems of the implementation of State supervision over the protection of land resources”. The audience was representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the Stavropol Territory, teachers, students and scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

This is not the first time that our university has become a platform for discussing the law enforcement practice of state environmental supervision.

In his welcoming speech, the director of the Center for laboratory analysis and technical measurements for the Southern Federal District- CLATM for the Stavropol Territory Mikhail Sergeevich Babansky noted that the main purpose of the seminar-meeting is to form the audience's understanding of the system of state supervision over the protection of land resources. He also stressed that the university pays special attention to the issues of environmental education and upbringing.

The guests of honor were Natalya Ivanovna Yarmolich - Deputy Head of the North Caucasus Interregional Directorate of the Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management and Yulia Viktorovna Balonkina - Deputy Director of the FSBI CLATM for the Southern Federal District, Rostov-on-Don.

Also, the head of the Department of Soil Science named after V.I. Professor V.I. Tyulpanova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Valery Sergeevich Tskhovrebov.

The employees of the departments acquainted the audience with the issues of state supervision over the protection of land resources, after which the participants of the event discussed the problems arising in the course of supervisory activities, and also summarized ideas and opinions on this topic.
