At the Stavropol State Agrarian University, met with a cosmonaut

On the eve of Cosmonautics Day, the Stavropol State Agrarian University was visited by Valery Ivanovich Tokarev, a graduate of the Stavropol Flight School, a cosmonaut of Y. A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, Air Force Colonel, Head of Star City, Hero of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of all faculties, applicants, schoolchildren and residents of Stavropol gathered in the museum of the history of the university to listen to the story of the test cosmonaut. It is not the first time that Stavropol SAU has become a platform for meetings of youth and Heroes of Russia. The main topic of conversation, of course, was the exploration of the Orbit. The leading position of the Russian cosmonautics won half a century ago remains in the same place.

Valery Tokarev made 2 flights, spent almost a year in orbit, his work in open space lasted 11 hours. For an cosmonaut, the galaxy is not just a word.

This meeting will go down in the history of Agrarian University. Valery Ivanovich left a comment in the "Book of Honorary Guests" of the Museum of the History of the University, wished prosperity and development to the students, the university and the gathered guests.
