On November 29, 2019 SSAU, within the framework of the "Library without Borders" project, held the Open Day of the Scientific Library for schoolchildren of Stavropol aged 11-14 years.
Within the framework of the meeting, the director of the Scientific Library Obnovlenskaya M.V. conducted an excursion, talked about how the "paper" library familiar to everyone has changed in the era of digital technologies. Representatives of the younger generation, actively using all kinds of gadgets, with interest immersed themselves in an extensive collection of electronic and digital resources, video and audio content, signed up as users of the electronic library systems of the SSAU ELS, ELS Znanium.com, ELS Yurayt.
The children also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the unique fund of rare editions, located in the rare book department, where schoolchildren saw book rarities, monument books, rare albums of animals and plants.
