On September 28, 2019, as part of the career guidance work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, an Open Day was held. The event was attended by high school students from the Stavropol, Krasnodar Territories, the Rostov Region, Kalmyk ASR and others.

Traditionally, the Scientific Library takes an active part in holding the Open Day. Director of the library M.V. Obnovlenskaya with each group of graduates conducted a sightseeing tour of the library, told how the library helps students in their educational and scientific activities, introduced them to available electronic resources, talked about areas for creativity and recreation. More than 1200 interested listeners visited the library that day.
