12/07/2019, within the framework of the program "Bright space for bright people" of the Scientific Library of SSAU, a meeting was held with students of 11 classes of secondary educational schools of the Stavropol Territory.
An extensive excursion was conducted by the staff of the Scientific Library, where the students were told about the resources of the university library. For independent work of students, there are reading rooms for 750 seats, of which 164 are automated workstations with access to the Internet. The Department of Rare Books, which contains the rarest old editions, aroused particular interest among schoolchildren.
