Winemaking and Cheese Making Contest in the Caucasian Mineral Waters

Professor O.V. Sycheva and Associate Professor R.S. Omarov visited the Caucasian Mineral Waters where a contest of winemakers and cheese makers took place. The event brought together industry representatives from all over the North Caucasus.

Within the framework of the program, three contests were presented: cheese, where the commission evaluated the quality of farm cheeses from producers from the Stavropol, Krasnodar Territories, Rostov Region, Karachay-Cherkess Republic and neighboring republics, and wine contest, which was also presented by various types of wines from winemakers of the Stavropol Territory and the republics of the North Caucasus.

The third stage of the c contest was the compilation of pairs of winning wines and the best cheeses.

Kirill Vladimirovich Reut, Minister of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory, welcomed the participants of the competition at the awarding stage. The best cheeses and wines were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. The event received a great response from participants and professionals in the field of winemaking and cheese making, as well as specialists in the tourism and hospitality industry.
