III International Festival “Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO Countries”

The best creative performances of the countries participating in the festival were shown on the city square named after Lenin and the best creative youth among the BRICS and SCO countries were announced.

The guests of honor were not only representatives of the administration, but also rectors and teachers of all universities of the North Caucasus Federal District. Among them are the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev.

The Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirovich Vladimirov addressed the participants, guests, volunteers and organizers of the Festival with a speech: “Thank you all! Thank you so much, Stavropol! I especially thank the townspeople - for your smiles, for your real hospitality! Together we tried to make the people, who came to us, to Russia, love Russia forever. It is a little sad to say goodbye to the student spring, but I am sure that the Stavropol Territory will still become a platform for new meetings and major events! "

A huge balloon was launched into the sky, which was in the center of the city during the festival. The ball is decorated with the flags of the participating countries. The headliner of the festival was the American hip-hop performer Akon, who gave a concert in front of more than 50 thousand people - citizens and participants of the festival.

In total, 2,500 people from 23 countries took part in the Festival: Russia, Brazil, South Africa, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, India, Iran, Pakistan, Mongolia, Belarus, Turkey, Sri Lanka, as well as Austria, Vietnam and Georgia (special guests of the festival).

The festival program was divided into seven areas: leadership and media, music, beauty, sports, education and art; a series of youth dialogues took place: Russian-Georgian and Russian-Vietnamese.

The Agrarian University hosted on its site the Forum of Young Leaders, as well as the Russian-Georgian dialogue. About 800 students of SSAU were involved in organizing and conducting the Festival.

Stavropol State Agrarian University is one of the festival venues - the Headquarters of the III International Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO countries is located in the dormitory No. 5 of SSAU, and on the basis of the new university building, the Forum of Young Leaders of the BRICS and SCO Countries was held.
