Agrarian University became the best again

In the Leninsky district of the city of Stavropol, the winners of the competition "The best territory adjacent to an enterprise, institution" were determined. This traditional annual event is held to involve the townspeople in solving the issues of landscaping and landscaping of the district, the development and support of social initiatives of residents, collectives of enterprises, institutions and organizations, and the disclosure of their creative potential.

For the eighth time, the Stavropol State Agrarian University becomes the best in the Leninsky District. Participation in the competition allows students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - future masters of landscape design - and their mentors to demonstrate their talents and abilities. Thousands of square meters of the most beautiful pre-university lawns and flower beds are created by the hands of the employees of the university's landscaping department and the "fighters" of the student team "The Landscaper".

To create green "oases" in the urban environment, amazing parterre lawns, flower beds and unique topiary forms, Stavropol State Agrarian University uses its own production base for planting material.

In the greenhouses and greenhouses of the Agrarian University, more than 300 thousand specimens of various flowers are grown annually, and tree and shrub seedlings are grown in the nursery of ornamental crops of the educational and experimental farm. It is important to note that the design of the adjacent territories is regularly updated and modified in accordance with the current season.
