Intellectual and entertaining game was held at SSAU

The Agrarian University once again opened its doors to the participants of the intellectual and entertaining game “What? Where? When? in the world of finance ”, held as part of the VII All-Russian Week of Savings (November 16, 2021).

The week was organized within the framework of the Project of the Ministry of Finance of Russia "Assistance in increasing the level of financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation."

The goal of the Project is to increase the financial literacy of Russian citizens, to promote the formation of reasonable financial behavior, informed decisions, a responsible attitude to personal finances among the population, and to increase the efficiency of protecting their interests as consumers of financial services.

To make the week of savings memorable for Russian students, the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory, together with the Department of Financial Management and Banking and the ABC Money Business School of the SmartAgro youth technopark, SSAU in the Boiling Point of the Agrarian University prepared the Intellectual Game “WHAT? WHERE? WHEN? in the World of Finance "for students of non-economic specialties of higher educational institutions of the Stavropol Territory.

The opening ceremony of the Intellectual Game was attended by the regional coordinator of the regional program on financial literacy of the population Gerasimenko Nadezhda Ivanovna, consultant of the training center of the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory Irina Kuzminichna Babich, head of the department of financial management and banking, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova.

Teams of the Stavropol State Agrarian University met at the site of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - Head, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Elena Anatolyevna Ostapenko; Stavropol branch of RANEPA - head of educational and extracurricular activities Olga Vladimirovna Kupaeva; Nevinnomyssk State Humanitarian and Technical Institute - head of the youth work specialist Elena Grigorievna Agarkova; Stavropol branch of the Moscow State Pedagogical University - the head is Sterenchuk Ksenia Valerievna.

The game included 3 rounds. The guys from Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk had to complete tasks and answer questions on the following topics: insurance, loans, rules for using plastic cards, taxation, consumer protection. Using my financial knowledge, logic, ingenuity, as well as strategic thinking, it was necessary to correctly answer as many questions as possible.

According to the results of all competitions, the winner in the intellectual game “What? Where? When?" became the combined team of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The silver pedestal was taken by the team of the Stavropol branch of the Moscow State Pedagogical University. Third place - the team of the Nevinnomyssk State Humanitarian and Technical Institute. Fourth place - the team of the Stavropol branch of the RANEPA.

Commenting on the results of the tournament, the regional coordinator of the regional program on financial literacy of the population Gerasimenko Nadezhda Ivanovna noted: “Teenagers and young people are the future active consumers of financial services. Today we must teach them to be careful about their personal funds, choose the right banking and insurance products, be able to defend their consumer rights, and understand the importance of creating a financial cushion. "

According to the experts of the game, all the participants undoubtedly showed excellent results in financial knowledge. Winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, valuable gifts and letters of thanks to educational institutions.
