Students of the Agrarian University took part in the Team building "Digital transformation of audit and taxation 2021"

This event was timed to coincide with the Day of employees of the tax authorities of the Russian Federation. This was a good finish to the tax marathon, which started in early 2021 at the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Team building “Digital transformation of audit and taxation 2021” was held at the Stavropol State Agrarian University on November 23, held with the support of the Office of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Stavropol Territory. The event was organized by the staff of the Department of Economic Analysis and Audit: Professor Igor Yurievich Sklyarov, Associate Professors of the Department Tatiana Alexandrovna Neshchadimova, Alexey Viktorovich Nesterenko, Tatyana Yuryevna Bezdolnaya.

This event is timed to coincide with the Day of employees of the tax authorities of the Russian Federation. This was a good finish to the tax marathon, which started in early 2021 at the Stavropol State Agrarian University. During this year, a series of interactive sessions was held with the participation of heads and leading specialists of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Stavropol Territory. Students and teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University and experts from the Federal Tax Service of Russia in the Stavropol Territory took part in the Team building.

Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, Professor Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting that digital information technologies increasingly determine the realities of the surrounding reality and determine the trajectory of changes for such areas of professional activity as audit and taxation.

Professor Sklyarov Igor Yuryevich emphasized the importance of such a format of work: "Our today's event is aimed at the scientific development of future specialists and acquaintance with new practice-oriented research in the field of audit and taxation." The jury consisted of: Dean of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, Professor Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova, Chief Specialist - Expert of the Debt Settlement Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Stavropol Territory Perevertaylo Yulia Viktorovna, and Head of the Department of Economic Analysis and Audit Professor Marina Genrikhovna Leshcheva.

Team building took place in two stages and the first of them was a presentation competition. 4th year students of the Faculty of Economics ("Accounting, Analysis and Audit") presented their work. The selected topics of the reports showed high preparation and fluency in the subject. The participants considered the prospects for the development of the internal control system in organizations, the problems of taxation in the digital economy, digitalization and tax audit, as the main trends in the audit services market.

At the 2nd stage, student team competitions took place. The jury members evaluated the relevance of the topics proposed by the students, the ability to navigate theoretical issues of tax audit, the availability of practical skills, the speed of decision-making and the effectiveness of teamwork.

The Team Building assignments were united by the common theme of digital transformation of audit and taxation. The winner was the team "Up to snuff", the second place was taken by the team "Wiser Heads". Representatives of the Federal Tax Service Directorate of Russia for the Stavropol Territory presented diplomas to the winners.
