On the 24th of November, the regional stage of the II Interregional Universiade of the Southern Branch of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation

The purpose of the Universiade is to encourage the interest of students of higher educational institutions in the financial system of the Russian Federation, the functions and powers of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in the field of regional economic analysis, development of the financial market, increasing the availability of financial services and financial literacy of the population.

When such events are held, ties are strengthened between the Southern GU of the Bank of Russia, branches - the national banks of the Southern Branch of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and higher educational institutions for subsequent cooperation in the field of joint research work, student practical training and the selection of the most qualified personnel for work in the Southern Branch of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

This event will be attended by more than 1,500 people, 37 higher educational institutions, among them the Krasnodar branch of the Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov, Stavropol State Agrarian University, Kuban State University and others.

Within the framework of the Universiade, the II strategic plenary meeting of the heads of the Southern Branch of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and heads of universities of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District was held.

At a meeting within the Council of Industrial Partners, they discussed the experience of a new format of interaction with employers, and in the Invest Club for students – the basics of project activities in the field of financial education.

Also, the head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova made a presentation "Formation of financial literacy of students using interactive technologies and digital educational resources."

This educational marathon allows students not only to better assimilate the knowledge they have already acquired, but also to acquire new competencies, go beyond the university program and see how theory works in practice.
