Practice-oriented class based on a strategic partner

Students of SSAU visited the Pyatigorsk Dairy Plant on a guided tour, learned about the production technology of manufactured products and asked questions to the General Director and Production Director.

Students of the direction of training "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" visited LLC "Pyatigorsk Dairy Plant" - the leading enterprise of the dairy industry in the Stavropol Territory. A modern milk processing plant is a highly cultured enterprise operating in full compliance with the HACCP principles. All processes take place in closed apparatus. They are controlled by operators at the console. The plant has thought out to the smallest detail the possibilities of receiving guests - they are located in an isolated glass gallery, from where the technological lines are clearly visible.

Production Director Olga Vladimirovna Oksenenko introduced the students to the stages of the technological process for the production of dairy products, the features of equipment, packaging and technological methods for the production of certain types of products, including butter.

The students made sure that each production area is under automated control, as well as under the control of a production laboratory for assessing the quality of milk and dairy products in terms of organoleptic and physicochemical indicators. Therefore, products of only guaranteed quality enter the distribution network.

At the final stage of the excursion lesson, students tasted the products manufactured at the enterprise in the new spacious room of the tasting room. During the tasting, a number of issues related to milk and dairy products were discussed. General Director Konstantin Borisovich Sukharev and Production Director Olga Vladimirovna Oksenenko answered students' questions.

Acquaintance with high-tech production on the basis of a strategic partner, the strictest standards of sanitation in the production of products and the very varied and tasty dairy products of the Pyatigorsk Dairy Plant left an indelible impression on the students.
