Profile agricultural shift "We are the owners of the Earth!" started at Agrarian University

The change brought together active members of the student production teams of the Stavropol Territory - students of the 9th, 10th and 11th grades of the general educational organizations of the Stavropol Territory. For seven days, schoolchildren will get acquainted with innovative technologies in the agricultural sector of the region; will take part in research at the faculties of the university.

A shift for schoolchildren of the Stavropol Territory is carried out in order to identify and develop children's creative abilities, to determine the most capable students with solid knowledge in the following nominations:

Landscape designer,

Ecologist,

Plant breeder,

Foreman,

Inventor and innovator,

Forester,

Mechanic,

Livestock technologist,

Veterinarian,

Fruit and vegetable grower.

In the first shift "We are the owners of the Earth!" about 100 schoolchildren from different parts of the Stavropol Territory are taking part.

At the grand opening, the schoolchildren were greeted by the rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexander Vladimirovich Trukhachev.

In addition to the educational block, a rich program of excursions awaits children: to the museum and exhibition complex "Russia - My History" with a visit to Vladimirskaya Square, the historical center of Stavropol, the Stavropol State Historical, Cultural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve named after G.N. Prozritlev and G.K. Prave, Stavropol Botanical Garden named after V.V. Skripchinsky, as well as participation in sports and entertainment programs.

On the first day, the children got acquainted with the material and technical base of the university, visited the Center for Advanced Professional Training and the Boiling Point.

Ahead of them is an exciting weekly program divided into main topics:

Innovative technologies in plant growing and horticulture,

Modern ecology, landscape architecture and forestry,

Engineering technologies in the agro-industrial complex,

Innovations in veterinary medicine and in the production and processing of animal products,

Economics, finance and services in agribusiness.

"We are the masters of the Earth!" will be held in two shifts: the first shift from November 29 to December 05, the second from December 06 to December 12, 2021, and will cover all the youth of the region.
