Annual Olympiad on Project Management

Design thinking is the foundation for the success of a modern organization. Project-oriented thinking has been around for a long time, but it is still a really necessary management tool, as it aims to achieve significant and sustainable success. Instead of a boilerplate mentality that focuses on the idea and completion of the project, design thinking requires an answer to the question "What's next?" This way of thinking opens up more possibilities and gives the freedom to think outside the lifecycle of a single project, putting the organization one step ahead of the competition.

The student community of Stavropol State Agrarian University is project-oriented and has proven their ability at the Olympiad in project management.

At the Boiling Point of SSAU, the Department of Management and Management Technologies, the annual Project Management Olympiad "Formation of Project Thinking" was held, in which students of the training direction "Organization Management", "State and Municipal Management", "Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering", "Business -informatics "," Service ". The Olympiad is aimed at the formation of project thinking of students in order to improve the quality of training for bachelors, develop their creative abilities, as well as identify gifted students and form highly qualified specialists.

The task of the Olympics was to develop a concept for a project in Stavropol for a potential investor. The project should be of interest to residents of the city and be implemented within three months.

As the teams complete the assignment, their fans contributed to the teams' work. The fans' points have been added as bonuses to the team's achievements.

The jury consisted of: associate professors of the Department of Management and Management Technologies: Semko Inna Anatolyevna, Levushkina Svetlana Vladimirovna, Altukhova Larisa Anatolyevna, Svistunova Inna Georgievna, Zvyagintseva Olga Sergeevna.

After the public presentation of the projects, the jury summed up the results and presented the winners' diplomas to the participants:

The first place was taken by the team "State and Municipal Administration".

The second place was shared by the teams "Management of the organization", "Power engineering and electrical engineering".

III place of honor was awarded to the teams "Business Informatics" and "Service".
